December 2025 brings enhanced visibility, faster workflows, and expanded capabilities — including new organization profile pages, improved task management, and offline edit scale improvements.
🔥 What's New?
🏢 New Org Profile Page
A comprehensive organization view for everyone.
A dedicated organization profile page now provides full organization information for users who don't have typical catalog access — including community users, non-members, and team organization contexts. Everyone in your data ecosystem can now discover and understand organizational details without requiring full catalog permissions.
Who benefits: Community users without org access, non-members who need to view organization details, and anyone navigating team organizations or discoverable organization views.

📋 Task Table Resource Name Display
See which resources need attention at a glance.
Resource names now appear as a dedicated column in the tasks table, making it easy to identify which resources are associated with each task without clicking through. Resource names are hoverable with resource previews, dramatically speeding up task triage and processing workflows.
Who benefits: Data stewards, administrators, and workflow managers who review and process tasks regularly and need quick context about which resources require attention.
🔗 Quick Links & Navigation Shortcuts to Catalog Toolkit
Faster access to metadata model management.
New quick links and navigation shortcuts make it easier for admins and managers of the metadata model to access Catalog Toolkit — the UI to edit the metadata profile/model. Navigate faster, work more efficiently, and manage your metadata model with fewer clicks.
Who benefits: Catalog administrators and governance teams who regularly configure and maintain the metadata model.

💫 Coming Later This Month
📑 Duplicate Automations
One-click automation duplication.
A new duplication feature will let administrators copy existing automations with all their configurations intact, streamlining the setup process for similar automation workflows. Click "Duplicate" on any automation to instantly create a new automation with the exact same configuration — eliminating repetitive manual setup and reducing configuration errors.
Who benefits: Catalog administrators who need to set up multiple automations at once or create variations of existing automation configurations without starting from scratch.
📤 Export More Than 2000 Resources Through Batching
Enterprise-scale exports without limits.
An enhanced export capability will remove the 2000 resource limit by automatically splitting large exports into manageable batches. Exports exceeding 2000 resources will be delivered in multiple batch files of 2000-resource increments — enabling bulk operations on enterprise-scale datasets without hitting hard limits.
Who benefits: Data stewards and administrators managing large catalogs who need to export and edit metadata for thousands of resources at once, particularly when using bulk import/export workflows.
🔄 Access Request Updates from ServiceNow for Premium Request Access Automation
Bidirectional ServiceNow integration for complete visibility.
Status updates will flow automatically from ServiceNow back to data.world, keeping users informed about access provisioning progress directly in the platform where they initiated their requests. No more checking multiple systems — users will see exactly when their requested access has been granted.
Who benefits: Data consumers who request access to restricted resources and administrators who manage access workflows, particularly in organizations with ServiceNow-based provisioning processes. This functionality is part of premium governance automations.
🎯 Collection Filtering for Premium Suggest Changes Automation
Fine-grained control over suggestion workflows.
Enhanced filtering capabilities will add collection-based filtering in addition to existing resource type filtering, bringing Premium Suggest Changes automation to feature parity with Premium Request Access automation. Configure suggestion workflows with precise control over both collection membership and resource type.
Who benefits: Catalog administrators and governance teams who configure suggestion workflows and need fine-grained control over which resources are eligible for bulk suggestion operations. This functionality is part of premium governance automations.
